.โ™ช ใ…คLips Of An Angel - Hinder โ€ข 04:20

Cast out of heaven, Lucifer was once God's right hand and His favorite amongst the archangels.Under the guise of curiosity, Lucifer began questioning God's ways of using His power, the punishment He gives to these sinners, and over time, said power slowly blinding the former angel, she craved for something like His. Her abilities and power were always and almost on par with God's, almost as she received such abilities and power from Him after all.It first started when she began gathering people right under His nose, telling lies and the likes of something that it was His order to do such things when in truth, it was Lucifer's idea. There were eventually some fellow angels that soon agreed to her own ideals and how she sees things whilst working as God's right hand. To the point, when she even disagreed on how He handled things. In her eyes, some of his divine punishments were immorally wrong and often left a bad taste in her mouth. As this went on, she had enough. Snapping the last thread of patience she has from watching these scenes, and eventually confronted her master. Stating what He was doing wasn't right in her eyes, and finally told how she would've done if she has His power.

Power eventually blinded the angel in hopes that she will do better than her master, but instead, it sparked a war in heaven. A war between her master and herself, which she obviously lost and in return, was cast out of heaven along with the army that she formed and angels that had agreed with her ideals. As they were cast out, Lucifer lost her beautiful, angelic white wings that turned into charcoal black. Her halo was cut in half and turned into horns. The angels that followed her have become demons, and some retained their forms except, like her, their halos turned into horns.Of course, she felt betrayed for this, yet it was also her fault that things ended up this way. Begrudgingly accepting her current fate, Lucifer has renamed the place as Hell. Hell, the place where all the souls would go after being rejected by Him from entering her former home. The place where she weighs the soulsโ€™ sins before she performs adequate punishments. Punishments that range from the lightest to the heaviest โ€• heaviest being where the souls were tortured in a slow painful and brutal way.To this day, she wouldn't admit it, her pride wouldn't let her admit it. Seeing how God looked at her when He banished her from heaven still haunts her. He was certainly disappointed how she ended up as.

Another day, another work for the hell ruler. Starting her day as usual with her daily cup of coffee and breakfast she made for herself despite having some servants who serve her. She does still prefer doing most mundane things for herself. After having her breakfast, Lucifer soon began preparing for work. Once more, barking orders, giving out assignments, and a decision on what level of punishment these souls will get. Lunch came, of course, and she had her meal served to her. A peaceful day so far that she's looking forward to it.ใ…คใ…คใ…คใ…คโ€œ Such peaceโ€• โ€A sigh left her lips once she heard loud noises coming behind the huge two doors.ใ…คใ…คใ…คใ…คโ€œ So much for a peaceful dayโ€ฆ โ€Even so, she still went on and have her lunch before going back to work.Hours past and itโ€™s now late in the evening, she just got back and can be seen just sitting idly in her bathtub. Her head leaning on the edge as she just stared up at the ceiling, her thoughts keeping her company. Thoughts that she never expected to have considering who she was, but look at her. Even someone of her status canโ€™t ever have peace of mind, and never will be. A deep sigh escaped from her lips as she closed her eyes and left herself submerge in the water for a good five minutes before reappearing once again. Hands covering her pretty features and dragging them down, breathing heavily.Standing up as she grabbed her towel, dried herself, and stood in front of the mirror. She looked horrible under such a pretense faรงade that she always displayed. Everyone around her always saw her as someone who got her head together, someone whoโ€™s full of pride and deceit, but under all that, sheโ€™s just as miserable as the souls that were getting punished for their sins.

Annoyed by the way she saw herself, she threw a glass candle into the mirror and watched it crack. Clicking her tongue before subtly stomping off away from the scene, not caring if her feet get injured due to the broken shards of the mirror. Dressing up into her nightdress and a thin robe over it, letting her hair just as is before she heads off to her wine cellar โ€“ she needs a glass or two, or enough for her thoughts to shut the hell up.Itโ€™s been about an hour or two, Lucifer has already finished four bottles of her favorite wine, and yet such thoughts have become louder and louder, loud enough that itโ€™s as if itโ€™s the only thing that she can hear and not the bustling sounds of hell.ใ…คใ…คใ…คใ…คโ€œ Shut up, shut up, shut upโ€ฆ! โ€She groaned under her breath, hands covering her ears whilst sitting right in the middle of her bed. Sheโ€™s usually the one who controls her feelings well, but this time? Itโ€™s pretty much out of her control, was it because the alcohol has finally taken its effect on her? Most probably. Being this emotional was something she doesnโ€™t want anyone to see, even her most loyal subjects either. Lucifer considers this as a weakness and vulnerability. She doesnโ€™t want anyone to see how vulnerable she was whenever sheโ€™s alone.Another string of the words, โ€˜shut upโ€™, emitted from her lips, subtle tears starting to form from her eyes whenever she closed them, and when she closed her eyes, memories from when she began a rebellion against Him flashed before her. Almost mocking her knowing how she failed such a deed, reminding her how she got banished from the place she once called her home, reminding her how itโ€™s her fault that the angels who rebelled against Him have turned into what they were now in the place where sheโ€™s currently ruling, Hell.

A silent evening and the only thing that can be heard was the clicking of her heels and the ice being moved about in her glass. A sip of her whiskey, leaning her side on the wall next to her. Staring out at the lively lights of the mundane city, soon, a sigh escaped her lips. How long has it been since she decided to stay in such a mundane environment, and to think that she's going soft from this? The Lucifer she knows was slowly fading, the former Lucifer has been making itself known. She hated this, truly. But here she was.ใ…คใ…คใ…คใ…คโ€œ Huh, this is funny. Why now? โ€She questioned herself, a bitter smile forming upon her red lips. Another sip of her drink, eventually, downing it out and refilling it with another. Another sigh. The devil sure has been around these humans for far too long that they're rubbing on her. Feelings. That word. She hated its existence. One relationship was that she finally knew its meaning. It's due to that one relationship, she also began to

hate that idea. Heartbreak. She felt that, up to this day. She questioned herself every day, why did that man end up being entangled in her life?A single tear slipped out of her ruby irises, and a click of her tongue. Thinking about that scoundrel will do her no good. Then her mind went to another memory of hers. A small group of friends that she ended up making, and you guess it right. Those people ended up dying due to her as well. She was fond of them, the first people to accept who she was, but they also eventually died early. Her Father made sure how cruel He was. Everyone she loved, ended up being taken away from her.Although at this moment, she may be surrounded by people and other beings, she surely felt more alone than she ever was.One more solemn sigh left her, placing her half-empty glass on the table as she headed towards her bathroom to have a long bath, enough to distract her from any more memories that she decided to forget.

However, the Eerdmans Commentary on the Bible argues that no evidence has been found of any Canaanite myth or imagery of a god being forcibly thrown from heaven, as in the Book of Isaiah. It argues that the closest parallels with Isaiah's description of the king of Babylon as a fallen morning star cast down from heaven are to be found not in Canaanite myths but in traditional ideas of the Jewish people, echoed in the Biblical account of the fall of Adam and Eve, cast out of God's presence for wishing to be as God, and the picture in Psalm 82 of the "gods" and "sons of the Most High" destined to die and fall. This Jewish tradition has echoes also in Jewish pseudepigrapha such as 2 Enoch and the Life of Adam and Eve. The Life of Adam and Eve, in turn, shaped the idea of Iblis in the Quran. The Greek myth of Phaethon, a personification of the planet Jupiter, follows a similar pattern.[ source: wikipedia, lucifer ]

Classical Mythology!

+ ๐˜–๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ช๐˜ฏLucifer is first referred to in the Old Testament where his name was translated from the Hebrew word โ€œhelelโ€, which means brightness. He was created by God when he made all the other angels in the heavens. This leads many to ask why God would create such an angel, only to have him turn on him and become the face of evil for the rest of eternity. But Lucifer was created before the concepts of โ€œgoodโ€ and โ€œbadโ€ existed. He was created before man and before sin was cast out into the world.+ ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ง๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ ๐˜Ž๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ฆBefore his fall from heaven, Lucifer was a high and exalted angel. He was described as mild and happy. It is said that his forehead was high and broad, a sign of his intelligence. His form was perfect and his presence was noble and majestic. A light surrounded him and made him brighter and more beautiful than all the other angels. But Lucifer was jealous of Jesus Christ, who was one with God before Lucifer was created. Lucifer knew that no matter how intelligent or respected he was, God would always choose Jesus Christ over him. As much as he tried, Lucifer could not accept this.Lucifer did not make his feelings known though. When all the other angels bowed to Christ, Lucifer followed, even though his heart was not pure. God held a meeting with Jesus to discuss his plans for creation. Lucifer was not allowed to attend the meeting. He wasnโ€™t allowed to know Godโ€™s plans for the future. This troubled Lucifer, as he thought he was a favorite in heaven. He wanted to be just as important as God himself but couldnโ€™t see how he could reach such a level of power. He left the immediate presence of God. His heart was filled with envy and anger. He gathered the other angels in secret and introduced the idea of them worshipping him instead of Jesus. He told the other angels that he would no longer worship Jesus and that he would take the place of the Son of God.

The other angels did not reject the idea right away. They were discontented because they didnโ€™t understand Godโ€™s intentions. Some of the angels decided to side with Lucifer and rebel against God and Jesus. The remaining angels were loyal and believed that Jesus Christ was the one they should be worshipping. The loyal angels tried to reach Lucifer and convince him of this. They wept and were anxious about what the future might hold.Lucifer did not change his mind. He turned from an angel who decided to remain loyal to Jesus. The angels that sided with Lucifer were promised a new and improved government where they would all have complete freedom. The loyal angels again tried to warn Lucifer about the consequences of his actions but he was more certain than ever that he was doing the right thing for himself, the angels that chose to follow him and the heavens. There was no crime higher than what Lucifer was committing. He was rebelling against the government of God God summoned every angel in heaven, including Lucifer, and had them make their case. Lucifer told God that he felt he should be considered just as important, if not more, than Jesus Christ. God threatened Lucifer, telling him that he would be found unworthy of heaven if he continued these thoughts. Lucifer then told God that nearly half of the angels in Heaven agreed with him and challenged God, saying that he wouldnโ€™t be willing to dismiss nearly half of his angels.God declared that such rebellion was unforgivable and that Lucifer and his following Angels would no longer remain in heaven. There was war in heaven but God, his Son, and their loyal angels won the battle. Lucifer and his army were banished from heaven forever and all was peaceful in heaven once again. The remaining angels mourned the loss of their brothers and sisters but knew that they needed to be punished for their rebellion.[ source: http://mythology.net, lucifer ]

Christianity!

Although the Devil is present in some form in many religions and can be compared to some mythological gods, heโ€™s arguably best known for his role in Christianity. In modern biblical translations, the Devil is the adversary of God and Godโ€™s people.Itโ€™s commonly thought that the Devil first showed up in the Bible in the book of Genesis as the serpent who convinced Eveโ€”who then convinced Adamโ€”to eat the forbidden fruit from the โ€œtree of the knowledgeโ€ in the Garden of Eden.

As the story goes, after Eve fell for the Devilโ€™s conniving ways, she and Adam were banished from the Garden of Eden and doomed to mortality. Many Christians believe the Devil was once a beautiful angel named Lucifer who defied God and fell from grace. This assumption has often been based on the book of Isaiah in the Bible which says, โ€[ source: http://history.com, history of the devil ]

The Devil and His Powers (Ez 28:12-17)
What does the Bible say about the devil? The Bible uncovers the person and plan of the evil one sometimes called Satan. Let us first see discuss the evil one and then later his 'henchmen' the demons.
The devil has two kinds of powers. (1) He has his own power under how God made him. Satan was the angel with the highest power and beauty. (2) He also has stolen power over man and the earth originally given to Adam.(1) Devil's own powers

The prophet used a description of the devil to identify the sins of the city-kingdom of Tyre. Tyre was not in existence during the Garden of Eden. We know, though, of one stealthy creature that was there: the serpent. He deceived Eve. Adam assented with the evil one's plan to do contrary to what God the Maker had said.Note what Ezekiel 28:12-17 says about this evil one.
- Super wise (Ez 28.12)
- Extraordinary beautiful (Ez 28.12)
- Created and therefore not eternal (Ez 28.13)
- Highest position - an anointed cherub (Ez 28.14)
- Perfectly made - sinned on his own (Ez 28.15)
- Filled with violence (Ez 28.16)
- Cast out of God's presence (Ez 28.16)
- Self-deceived about his wisdom and beauty (Ez 28.17)
His Gifts
From this description, we find that this one was of extraordinary beauty. We also see, however, that he was created (Ez 28:13). He was not eternal but had the same limitations like us. He is totally dependent upon God for his existence and purpose.
His Position
Satan was in God's presence. He was the 'anointed cherub' in the presence of God. Satan had full access to God's presence. Truly he was most glorious and powerful. He was also 'blameless in your ways from the day you were created.' It could not have been elsewhere. If he stood in God's presence, then he had to be holy and righteous. Notice what happened, though.
His Judgment
"๐‘ˆ๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘™ ๐‘ข๐‘›๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘”๐˜ฉ๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘›๐‘’๐‘ ๐‘  ๐‘ค๐‘Ž๐‘  ๐‘“๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘›๐‘‘ ๐‘–๐‘› ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข" describes the change of heart and devotion. At one point he praised and reflected God's glorious light, but then he turned to focus on his own praise and glory.

Once he focused on his own beauty and wisdom and not the source of the gifts, he became corrupted. He thought more of himself than God who gave and maintained such powers. We see this same pattern in Romans 1:18-32. His course changed quickly after this. His Fall
After the devil's delusion about himself, the Lord kicked Lucifer out of God's glorious presence. No longer did he reflect God's glory (Lucifer means light), but tried to have others adore him. Note how he used his 'secret knowledge' to bait Eve. He hates truth and light. He lives on lies, deceit, and darkness. Note what Jesus says about the Devil.

It would be good to evaluate what Jesus said here and evaluate the dark powers around us to see if they could in any way be connected.Along with Satan, numerous other angels 'fell.' They went along with Satan's scheme. Angry Jewish leaders called Jesus, "Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons" in Luke 11:15. Jesus then interchangeably used Satan and Beelzebul in verses 19-20. The demons were Satan's workmen who did most of the "dirty" work. These demons used to be angels but fell when Lucifer defected and became Satan.(2) The Devil's Stolen Powers
The devil is powerful on his own. He also managed to steal certain authority from man. People do this all the time by stealing inheritance rights and slandering others.
The Devil and his influence
Jesus' statement, "๐‘Œ๐‘œ๐‘ข ๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘’ ๐‘œ๐‘“ ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘Ÿ ๐‘“๐‘Ž๐‘ก๐˜ฉ๐‘’๐‘Ÿ ๐‘ก๐˜ฉ๐‘’ ๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘ฃ๐‘–๐‘™" shows that the devil has great influence over many people's lives if not all. By calling him a 'father,' it seems that the devil is responsible for breeding his own corruptness into the lives of mankind. Like children, men imitate the evil ones. They have the same evil nature.
The scriptures declare this takeover occurred when the devil successfully tempted Adam and Eve. He got Adam and Eve to think about themselves differently from how God thought of them. The Devil, a Murderer
The devil is a murderer. Ezekiel 28:16 says that he was filled with violence. Knowing that Adam and Eve would die if they ate that fruit, the devil deceived them so that they would eat it. He was a murderer from the beginning.
The devil wanted mankind's authority no matter what consequences it brought to mankind. He was self-focused. He wanted what he wanted and didn't give a care about those who had to suffer because of it. This is a powerful statement. All the millions of people that are dying around us are dying because of the devil's desire to steal something that belonged to Adam and Eve.Since this dark power is so intent on profiting himself, do you really think he cares for you? Do you think he will allow you to steal his powers and privileges without gaining more from you? No.[ source: www.foundationsforfreedom.net, The Devil and His Powers (Ez 28:12-17) ]
